Skimming

■        It is the most common way to snatch the credit card details whenever you use your credit card at a shop or restaurant there is a probability that those machines in which you insert your card are using for this skimming technique

■        Basically in this technique your card data is captured while you are swapping your card

 

Fraud phone calls

■        It is the easiest way to capture someone's credit or debit card data why in this process the hacker basically call you and introduce himself his as a bank employee and ask you some of your card details and then your OTP after this your card details reached to them

 

 

Phishing emails

■        Phishing is basically a technique in which the hacker sends you were spam email which also carry a link for some payment option or it might be e for some credit or debit card renew option and they tell you that you should have to refresh or renew your card from this option otherwise your card may be void after sometime

Fake website or links

■        Nowadays most of the hackers trying to create similar online websites where you can easily confused between the original one and the fake one they basically creates the same UI as compared to original so that the user can trust and fill up their details in their database it is basically the second step of phishing attack

 

With the help of a malware or a virus

■        As we all know that the basic work of virus or malware is to perform some suspicious activity so the hackers use them in their websites where if the user enter that website the malware will automatically download in their computer or mobile phone then at the time of any kind of payment the malware capture the data and all kinds of details and directly send those details to the hacker

 

After getting the card details what are the strategies of a hacker

• He must have to create a database to arrange them in order
• He must have to plan that how and where he have to sell those card details
• After getting the plan he must have to post those details on a website and search for a buyer
• After getting a buyer he can earn money after selling those card details

So the question is who buy those card details?

The simple answer is :

Carder 

A person who use those card details to buy some items from online shopping sites and then he can simply sell those online purchased items to earn money

How the buyer can get a benefit from the Carder ?

It's obvious if he want to sell the items which are purchased by those cards then he must have to sell those in a low price because there is a full chance to get traced by the cyber crime police so he use normal people and sell those item to them in a low price to avoid tracing
